We Are Red Hatchet

By Red Hatchet · On January 13, 2016

Our Mission

Red Hatchet Outdoors is dedicated to the modern explorer. We live in a world where adventure must often be sought after. For most of us, the wild frontier is a thing of the past. It’s up to all of us to explore every day. We’re here to help you find your frontier. We love exploring the outdoors, reviewing gear, cooking, eating, exercising, and consuming all things interesting. Check in occasionally for information, news, gear reviews, recipes, range trips, how-to guides, and much more.

Who We Are

Screen Shot 2016-01-13 at 5.51.29 PMChris Earp is our founder. Most of the time, you can find him meticulously sharpening his knives, cooking, planning a hike, taking a complicated object apart, cleaning his guns, or endeavoring to build something. He’s been fascinated with the wilder side of things for his whole life. He has a passion for risk, reward, fresh air, and exercise. He IS related to the Earp Brothers. His other hobbies include playing the guitar, watches, bourbon, working out, and great movies like Carlito’s Way.

Hannah Levite is the unstoppable creative force behind our graphic design and photography. She’s an avid hiker, artist, shooter, fisherwoman, and maker of things. She cut her teeth on weeklong canoe trips in the Canadian wilderness at a very young age- she is not to be messed with. Hannah loves everything ’90s, balsamic vinegar, afternoon fishing, and a good sweater. She’s also a serious animal lover, owner of two dogs and a rat named Daisy.
